Why anonymous.
Apocrypha has no author photo, no founder story, and no live readers. That is not a marketing posture. It is the method.
A symbol read through a personality stops being a symbol. The moment a face is attached — a voice, a brand, a reputation to defend — the card is no longer doing the work; the person is. We remove the personality so the symbol can be seen.
So there is no one here to trust, and nothing to take on authority. The archive is the reader. The method is designed to be self-administered, which places the full weight of interpretation with the person holding the cards. That weight is not a burden we are offloading. It is the point.
The short version.
We do not predict. We do not sell certainty. We keep no readers. We show no face. We do not read reversals as opposites, assign lucky or unlucky cards, mix systems, or promise resolution.
What we do: describe the pattern you are already standing inside, and the posture available to you within it — in the lineage of Pollack, Jung, Hillman, and Campbell, as psychology, not prophecy.
